I still think the rivalry game will be played.

This state doesn’t not want to see this. I can’t believe either school, even the one that knows they’re getting number 7, wants to drop this game. Fans from both schools will be going crazy over this. Even the S.C. politicians have expressed the desire to make this game happen. I still think Clemson/Usc and the state of South Carolina find away to make this game happen

If the SEC slates 10 conference games, then the game will not be played.
The ACC is slated for 10 + 1.
Besides, for argument sake, what happens if it is played and Trevor( or any key starter) goes out with a season ending injury, then what are "YOU" going to say?

You play the game, you can't worry about someone getting hurt. That can happen any year. Hopefully our State Gov will step up for what is good for the state!

I am gonna say, "I hope we had a big lead when he went out"

and he gets well soon. Now,if we don't play the coots, I will be right with your argument for not playing The Citadel.

I don't believe you know that. The SEC can regulate conference games, but

the NCAA regulates total quantity of games. The SEC cannot tell UofSC they can't play Clemson. That's not theit jurisdiction. If the NCAA steps in and says max 10, then okay, but the SEC can't stop UofSC from playing an out of conference game. I'm with the OP - jusy because the SEC said 10 conference games doesn't mean this is over. They don't have that power.

That’s the dumbest response I could have ever imagined

...this game can happen. The SEC is starting 2 weeks later than ACC on 9/26 with a 10 game (plus 1 open week for total of 11 weeks) slate that would end on Saturday, 12/5. The only opportunity to play the USuC game would be 12/12. But the ACC announced the ACCCG is EITHER going to be 12/12 or 12/19. No ACC team could schedule a game on 12/12 if hopes of being in the ACCCG. Fyi, the SECCG game is scheduled for 12/19 already. The fly in the ointment is the fact the SEC is starting 2 weeks later.
