which means it is our duty to be mad at Austin, but let's not forget we are still mad at Spiller and Grisham as well. And while the jury is still out on Goodwin, we should still be preparing ourselves to be mad at him too, just in case things don't go well on that side of the ball this season.

Hogwash Francis. 99.99% Clemson fans aren't mad at any coach. Simply because someone points out a fact for debate makes them a loser or hater I suppose. No denying for whatever reason, we missed on the oline targets we wanted. And that's per Dabo.
We offered good talent. Most of the 5* and high 4* rated (per 247, on3) guys we didn't offer. Either not a fit, no interest or whatever. The ones we wanted:

OL recruits want to play right away, we are as loaded as we have ever been talent wise. It’s hard to add #15-17 when the 14 ahead of you are really good offensive lineman.
I don’t care who’s coaching them, they want to play now so they can go pro rather than develop. We brought in two top notch rookies last season & one was All ACC, we recruited a great class that came in this season. Would you want to go compete with a loaded with talented team coming out of high school.
Most of the OL is back this season too. That’s why we are having a hard time with top recruits who want to play now.

… and you really mean it, the you have big problems with your previous recruiting.
Freshman OL are generally not ready and only pressed into service when there is no choice.
We are 2-deep with talented OL who have paid their dues and are ready for playing time.
We need more guys with talent and potential who are willing come in and develop.

3 of those players chose them over us and while I dont know for certain, I would bet money that UGA has more OL recruits stacked up than we do. If we can only pull off a decent line every 4 or 5 years we should probably readjust expectations.

I just checked and we did in fact send out more than 9 offers. The others were initially offered but didn't reciprocate interest. That's why there hasn't been any coverage of them.

It could be as simple as Austin has yet to be considered a proven commodity. If so, it's understandable and yet unfortunate.
A little on Sale ( his counterpart at UF )
Rob Sale enters his second season with the Gators as Florida’s offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.
Sale joined the Gators prior to the 2022 season after serving as the New York Giants' offensive line coach in 2021.
During his first year as Florida's offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, Sale directed a powerful run offense. The Gators finished the 2022 regular season as the third-most productive offense in the nation and best in the conference in yards per carry (5.84). Florida ran the ball for an average of 213.7 yards per game in 2022, which ranked 16th in the FBS and third in the SEC.
The efficiency by Florida's running offense reflected an offensive line mentored directly by Sale that allowed only 13 sacks in the regular season, ranking tied for second-fewest in the SEC and 16th in the FBS.

The last time we had consistently good O lines was when Brad Scott was coaching them. We had good, tough, kick your ### lines.

shortcomings on. I tend to rotate between them, say a person looks at me the wrong way by the water cooler, they become my enemy for the day. Regardless, it is great because then you are never wrong, and never at fault. Rotating keeps coworkers on their toes, and generates favorable behavior to my benefit, because they know one of them is going to get the stick, so they take their problems out on each other. I find the management style highly effective when it comes to getting the things that I want.

While I know you are king of comedy on the Tnets and this isn’t a serious post, I think TA is still doing fine. We we’ve recruited well at OL the past three years. It just might be hard to sell playing time this year. 2023 class was a great class. We’ll probably take some depth guys in this class and look to Land that 5* OL out of Charlotte next class. I believe we lead for him as it stands today.
