I know that a big reason Artavis Scott's

Nov 23, 2015, 7:52 AM

Numbers haven't seemed as eye popping this year is in main part due hugely to us having many more weapons at the WR position. But man, whenever I think about the Scar game last year I think of two things. 50% Toughness of DW and 50% Artavis Scott. I would love to see him have another huge game this week against the coots. Nothing like #3 when is confidence meter is pegged out. Happy Monday, go Tigers!!

Having Mike Williams helped Scott since he was a deep threat

Nov 23, 2015, 8:04 AM

big guy that drew a lot of attention and stretched the
field. He's not getting as many yards on the screen passes
but still getting 5+. Peake's improvement as a deep threat
is helping. We don't seem to be running that jet sweep much;
maybe we're saving it or figured that teams have caught on.

It does seem that Mike and AS compliment each other very well. I just have felt that AS can't get going over the past few outings. Hopefully the deep ball becoming more consistent will give him more chances to get the motor going. Probably my favorite receiver in some time ever since the tight rope walk on the sideline last year.

btw, my son BigAl is a lefty; lefties rock!

Nov 23, 2015, 8:44 AM

But aren't some things weird, like hand shakes or hand
saws or other stuff made for righties. I'm right handed
(had to go all the way back to his great-grandmother to
find a leftie in the family). When he was a kid, i noticed
him favoring his left hand and tested him by throwing,
rolling, or handing stuff to his right hand but he still
used his left. Lefties are only about 10% of the population.
Stuff for lefties is more expensive, i.e. baseball gloves, etc.

Very true. Try going through school having to use right handed scissors. That's the epitome of being bullied. And heaven forbid I go to a sporting store looking for golf clubs.

+1 Very good point Al

Think we see the jet sweep with Scott/Ray Ray against coots though.

Speed kills - that D of theirs is s---l---o---w

Hopefully so. One would think after they got toasted on that play 10 times last year they would prep for it. But at the end or the day the better athletes will be the better athletes. And the truth is their defense isn't very athletic. This might be a week Elliot and Scott feel they can get away with whatever they want to

point: "d of theirs is slooow"!***

Each time Scott goes in motion this Saturday...

Nov 23, 2015, 8:30 AM

the coots sphincter muscle is going to contract.

Just imagine the confusion that's gonna kick in when both KB and DW are in the backfield. Tj Gurley will be more confused than he is when someone interviews him

We won't need 2 QB'S to win. Won with a one legged one last year

I just hope that the coots give Scott another "helping hand" into the end zone this week. That was a classic.

We should nickname him

Coot killer?
Chicken kicker?
Yardbird plucker?

But definitely not cockslapper cuz that's just gross
