Drew Woodaz discusses interest in joining his Big Bro Wade

Sports Illustrated has a story on Drew Woodaz (2024 LB) wanting to play on the same team as his brother, Wade. According to 247, several schools (including Oklahoma and Pittsburg) have already offered Drew. Clemson, however, has apparently not yet offered.

I haven’t seen footage but if he’s in the same realm as big brother talent-wise and he has an offer from Coach Venables I would think a Clemson offer should be forthcoming.

Thanks for posting. I hope we offer the kid. 3* 86 rating. As others said, worth the gamble... and he'd put in the work. What I see on his highlights is he's fast and finds the football quick. This from on3 , hope link works. Long ad to get to film but worth it.

These prospect-type guys who are long and lean … but can run well and is a willing tackler … are typically a gamble.

Who knows if his frame will fill out enough; who knows if he can retain his speed if indeed he fills out.

What makes him less of a risk is the reasonable prospect that his genetic makeup will be close to that of brother Wade.

Those numerous other schools that have already offered this ~ 185 lb. HS LB have apparently already weighed this risk factor and said ‘let’s go.’

If we can manage to RS him, then we may find ourselves with a true star.

I’m on board with Woodaz v2.
