Even though my alma mater (Gilbert '94...who also has a former Tiger on the coaching staff as of last year. Durrell Barry TE '05-'09 Not sure if he is coaching this year or not) will have to go against him this season, it's always great to see former Tigers coaching. And to be coaching within smelling distance of Billy Brice and the heart of cootlumbia.
Maybe he can steer these kids away from a lifetime mistake of going to USuC.
Speaking of former Clemson players, I didn't know until last night that Denny Walling was the hitting coach for the Orioles. It was mentioned on the Orioles Red Sox game. Anyone remember him? Quite a players a few years ago.
Yeah, had a nice career with the Astros. I think he is the organization's roving instructor these days. Jim Presley, former Mariner, is the O's full-time hitting instructor. Anyway, here's hoping the Orioles continue their winning ways after soooo many years of frustration.
