Which could also explain Gallman and the inability to pick up 1yrd twice.. or this summer DW4 said he wasn't a dual threat qb. So did he decide to play more in the pocket and not run? That would also explain Gallmans lower output as DW always hands off on the read option.

Lastly, his senior year of high school was changed to prepare him for Clemsons offense.. is it reasonable the less running is to showcase him more now as an NFL ready passer?

You cannot deny the significant change in play all season. And yes, i think he is amazing. His passing is awesome. He played today with a bum shohlder. I love him as our Qb. But he made that statement, and seemingly has not run the read option all year.

Thoughts?

If his shoulder was so bad that they couldn't call two QB run plays to get one yard for the win in a game that at the time could have eliminated them from playoffs, maybe he shouldn't have played. That's why you recruit good backups.

Have been called on 3rd. We had proven we could throw all over them but they weren't going to give us any run and they have the dudes to stop that. Also not sure if we do run why it's behind 2 backup FR tackles. We got too conservative on the last possession- focused on the clock vs moving the football down the field

You know I don't know what the answer is, but Watson has definitely taken a step back this year. Dabo seems to sugar coat his mistakes. Man I would have went Postal after that last interception, really stupid play decision by our Heisman/Senior QB. To top it off, gave a #### poor effort in making the tackle after. Mike Williams had to come from the back of the end zone to run the guy down. Personally I don't think Deshaun is as focused as he needs to be. Seems to let down at some point in every game. Warming the bench for a game might be in order. OL sucks period. Can't run the ball. Don't like the play calling. Can't get a yard on a 5-4 team in 2 plays. Yep!
