I’ve never understood ESPN’s marketing model. Embrace and worship the smallest market (SEC). That’s right, the smallest. SEC states are NOT highly populated. Rabid fans? Yes. Large population? No.
Be luke warm on Midwest.
Mock and disrespect to 2 most populated sections of the country.

If ESPN is in the business of capturing eyeballs, then their marketing strategy is insanely flawed.
