Does anyone think FOX might make a play in all this

conference realignment talk, especially with rumors that ESPN is throwing its weight around?

FOX has a national network along with regional cable networks (FSN). ESPN is the SEC network (basically). Maybe FOX could marry the Big XII and say "go get em boys", freeing up the Big XII to get Clemson, FSU, and several other schools?

This is all speculation obviously, but if ESPN is too heavy handed, then why not?

I think they tried and failed. Got to wait years now for new contracts.

Fox owns 2nd tier rights to big 12 and there has been discussion about getting an east coast presence. Rumor is they have offered extra money to big 12 if they pick up some teams on East coast.Again rumor but supposedly enough to make it work out by adding teams.
