Do you think Lawson starts over Beasley next year?

I kid... but this is huge from a depth stand point.
We could use Beasley as our 3rd down specialist.

The better question is, will he start over Crawford? I'd hate to see Crawford take a step back but at this point it looks like Lawson is moving along faster than Crawford did and could by pass him.

I'm a big DJ Reader fan. Shaq Lawson is a stud in the making. And Pagano and Carlos Watkins add talent and depth at DT. Oh, and then there's the physical freak that is Ogundeko.

With as deep of a line as we have and thin at LB, do you think we may see more of a 5-2 defensive scheme next year?

We have Anthony, Steaward, BB, BJ Goodson, TJ Burell, Kellen Jones, O'Daniel, along with 3 four stars coming in this recruiting class. We actually have too many LBs considering how often we got to nickel and dime formations.

No not a 5-2, more like a 4-3 over...using Vic as an outside pass rusher off either end in the OLB position. Nothing much will change, we run a lot of Nickel too, just depends what the opposing offense has on the field and the situation they're in on the field. BV will come up with few new kinks in the pass rush i'm sure.

Crawford and Beasley will start period. But it hardly matters, Lawson will see the field plenty, having this much depth on the D-line will just keep fresh bodies on the field. Doesn't matter who starts, they will all play.
Tho I wouldn't mine seeing some kind of blitz formation having Crawford, Jarrett, Reader, Lawson on the line...with Beasley hovering around either end as a outside LB pass rusher.
