you'll figure out what to do. Maybe Stumphouse Tunnel or the Chattooga River for a day trip.

Link for information. https://discoversouthcarolina.com/products/7A short easy walking trail leads from Stumphouse Mountain Park to Issaqueena Falls, a beautiful 200-ft. cascade. Legend has it that the Indian maiden, Issaqueena, rode to the nearby fort to warn of a pending Indian attack and then escaped pursuing Indians by pretending to leap over the falls, but actually hiding beneath them. This easy hike will take you to the top of the falls, but a short path to the right will give you a grand view of the entire scene.
Stumphouse Mountain tunnel is the remains of an 1850s attempt to link the port of Charleston to the cities of the Midwest by rail. The Civil War brought the construction to an end.
The park has picnic facilities and trails.

Clemson and Seneca. Varying length of trails as well as difficulty. Lakebabe and I have had a great time on the ones we've visited.

https://southcarolinaparks.com/table-rock/lodgeTable Rock Mountain provides a towering backdrop for an upcountry retreat at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Table Rock State Park features two lakes, a campground, mountain cabins, meeting facilities and its historic, renovated lodge.
The park has been one of South Carolina’s most popular since it was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. Many of its structures are now on the National Register of Historic Places.
Table Rock was home to one of the state’s first formal nature education programs and now serves as a trailhead for the 80-mile long Foothills Trail through the wilderness along the Blue Ridge Escarpment. Trails through the forested park also include one that leads to the top of Table Rock Mountain itself.
The park also hosts a visitors center near the main gate along S.C. 11, the Cherokee Foothills National Scenic Highway.

These are all great. Are there certain hidden gem locations regarding Lake Hartwell that you go to?
Isn’t there a quary somewhere that people go to?
