Clemson belongs in the Tournament

Clemson was at one point by far the best team in the ACC. Finished 3rd and blew out NC State (Tournament team) in the ACC Tournament. Who Clemson also beat 3 times handedly.

Aside from all the BS, any Power 5 team who finishes top 4 in their Power 5 conference should absolutely be in the tournament. Screw the ACC “down” year, it’s still one of if not the best conferences for basketball talent.

But knowing the committee, they’ll see the UVA score tonight and automatically disregard that we have the ability to show up under pressure.

It really should not even be a discussion.

Maybe we should get a bid - but clearly the ACC is not the best or even one of the best anymore. For years, the reputation has been due propped up by Duke, unc, uva. When the ACC was the gold standard (70s, 80s, 90s) the entire league was strong. Finishing at .500 in ACC got you invite. Now, we don’t have a single game against a top 10 school.
