Not sure what game you watched. Yes we were in danger of an onside kick recovery from losing that game. So yes we were in danger.
The second half was mismanaged.

Not sure what game you watched. Yes we were in danger of an onside kick recovery from losing that game. So yes we were in danger.
The second half was mismanaged.
No doubt Swinney should have remained aggressive on offense. Playing just to run out the clock can be disastrous. At the very least you want an impressive looking win and separation to impress the playoff committee. What the heck was Dabo thinking?

Onside kick away…. is too frigging close for me after blowing what was a 20 point lead in 3rd quarter….we quit playing after getting that lead and almost blew it……not good!

If FSU recovered that onside kick we were very much in danger of losing then. It was only a 6 point game with plenty of time on the clock for them to run their normal offense. Defense was gassed and the tackling was atrocious tonight. Didn't help the officiating really didn't want to call holding on FSU either. Absolutely cannot keep playing with fire like that. Grateful for the win but that game should've never came down to an onside kick when we were up by 20.

Okay captain obvious. That wasn't the point. OP said we "weren't in danger" when we very much were at the end the end there. FSU gets one good bounce there and we might be having a stream of different threads here.
