Cade Klubnik wildcat package?

Seems to be what Dabo is trying to implement. I remember they tried that with will Taylor last season. I think it’s good way to get cade on the field more getting experience. But I hope they let him throw it some to or defenses will just load the box. Thoughts?

I do agree. If it's only for show, and no threat to make a good play, why do it. I hope we tweek, make it work, and we get much positive yardage in the future. Cade can be a weapon, too, and I hope we let him have some great moments, too.

Yes, a wildcat package where he can run or throw.

Just so few snaps to really tell what's going on there. Always looks chaotic, with him trying to run. Would like to see him stand in the pocket some.

I’ll bet our coaches have absolutely no clue what they are doing.***

I hope not. I hate the wildcat.

Would be nice to use him the way UF used Tebow as a freshman.

We are pissing away time needed to develop a valuable commodity. My 8th grade grandson called the plays that Cade ran before he ran them. Streeter is just so innovative.

Your grandson needs to be coaching. What does he base his analysis on. The formations have no obvious tells. I look at an obvious pass formation and 50% of the time I guess which side of the field it is going to.

Don't get in a hurry with cade...if you watched the red river shootout Saturday eweers looked like a Heisman candidate and cade kicked his butt multiple times! It usually all comes out in the wash!

I would like to see him get on the field but not necessarily to run the wildcat. No need putting our backup QB in harms way to be a glorified RB. Now if he's gonna get some reps throwing the ball with a few runs mixed in then fine because that's our offense.

He would be one of the best wildcat QB's in the history of what was called: "The Q-tail" offense in Rock Hill(wildcat).
Klubnik can pass it at a good level; if the defense is committed to the box 100% you throw it outside to the 1 on 1.
I like it. So, we won't run it, LOL! ??

If needed in the future people will wish Cade had gotten legit reps......ask Alabama fans.

I’d love to get him on the field, but not in the wildcat. Didn’t DJ get hurt his freshman year effectively as run-first QB? Taysom Hill is always dinged up too. Not sure Cade has the weight/frame to withstand smashing up the middle, and the O-line hasn’t consistently opened holes for our RBs.
Only solution is get bigger leads, then put him in there in a traditional role. I think Cade’s biggest value to our team is as the capable backup QB.
