Sure he was a bit flat yesterday. But the entire offense was flat yesterday. Cade didn’t really do anything to lose the game sure the fumble was bad. But I thought Cade managed the game really well with his legs. His mobility reminds me of Deshaun Watson. But as far as progress I think Cade has gotten dramatically better. The only con I have is he stares down receivers to much almost like he knows who he wants to throw to before going through his reads. While another receiver is open. And could be a better option. But overall I’m pleased with Cade and believe he will ball out against Miami

I don’t know if Tiger fans are blaming Klubnik for the poor play we see much to often. I know that I don’t but the fire has left this team and it really needs to return. Klubnik did miss a wide open receiver late in the game that would have sealed the victory but he missed him completely.
Collins played well yesterday. I was glad to see that. Mafha didn’t get a lot of snaps for some reason but Shipley had a good day. I’m surprised he didn’t get the ball thrown to him. I was hoping that the new OC would open up this offense. Is there a lack of talent??!

More than anything else, that is what I said after yesterday. The fire, energy, enthusiasm, excitement - whatever you want to call it - is missing.

Lack of talent on the O may be a great part of the problems seen as well as cohesion between players & coaches.

Like Shipley's intensity but it needs to be controlled. He admitted he caused the fumble. Cade was trying to pull it, and probably would still be running without the fumble. Cade made the correct read but Shipley wanted to run. Anyway, the compiled stats for season to date, Mafah is outperforming Shipley. Mafahs pff grade for blocking is much higher than Shipley. I would like to see more Mafah. I could see Mafah transferring, and I pray I'm wrong.

Cade runs like a goofy DW. I love him and his is quick but not close to the runner that DW was.

I don’t think he has the vision yet to run. DW had instinct and was patient, he waited on holes to open. Cade is full speed right now and sometimes that costs him.

That vision is getting better. He stepped away from several rushers while scrambling yesterday. He is a work in progress.

He has the athleticism for sure. He just isn't as smooth as dw. He has gotten us plenty of 1st downs when we need them tho.

Please stop with making idiotic statements that Cade in some ways looks like DW4. On most plays Cade looks like a deer in the headlights. His pocket presence is suspect and his decision making is average. As a sophomore after 5 games DW4 was lights out. Like I've stated previously " I'm still trying to figure out who rated Cade a 5 star prospect ? "

I see the 5 star talent in Cade. The offensive line doesn’t do him any favors. But from the Duke game to today his pocket presence has improved dramatically. I only really saw one bad pass that could have been intercepted yesterday. But even though i thought the offensive was in general very flat. I also thought Cade protected the football well and didn’t put the ball at risk. He’s managing the game much better.

Cade had an all world receiver in HS. That made the comparisons to DW a lot more accurate. If he had Mike Williams, Jordan Leggett, Amari Rodgers, and Renfrow the comparison would still be accurate.

The game is still super fast for Cade. He’s panicky and spastic in his critical decision making. You can see him panic when he has to step up in a tight pocket for instance. I watched Plummer last night and he is cool and relaxed under pressure. I think (hope) Cade Will get there but it’s a work in progress.
