I disagree. Even if he’s not the head coach at Oklahoma in 5 years, he won’t be back at Clemson. And that’s OK, putting the band back together rarely works.
Just ask Dan Mullen and Florida

If I had 50 million dollars the last place I would want to live is Clemson. It's a college town pretty #### boring for anyone older.

Don’t think you ever have to worry about ever owning $50 million dollars which is probably a good thing for you based on your idiotic response here!

Clemson is one of the best places to live. But, I don't think Brent will be back. The Tigers will move on--he's not the only good DC in the world.

Clemson is actually a pretty nice place to live. It's beautiful scenery and a short drive from Anderson or Greenville if you were wanting to go do some more shopping or something.

Upstate SC is in the top 5 real estate destinations in the US and for good reason. Proximity to ATL and CLT without the congestion, proximity to both mountains of western NC and the coast with both tourist beaches and historical beaches and ports in Charleston and Savannah. Most of the country feels a little different.

I don't think so. He may not be at OU, but he'll have a ton of money and probably just retire. BV is a great DC. Maybe the best in the country. However, I actually think TE has a better skill set to be a head coach.

I keep hearing that. Do you really think Dabo would leave? I understand he’s a Bama grad but the man is an idol in Clemson.

In five years, he will be fully immersed in the SEC world.

Even if he WERE not to have success at Oklahoma, he would recycle through the schools in THAT conference. It didn't even take beyond his Initial Hiring Press Conference to bring up the SEC as the "preimminent conference in college football." And, it is, despite some peoples delusions to the contrary.

If things didn't work out long term at OU, I could easily see K State trying to bring him onboard.
