Nick Saban:

We have a playoff system already. If you win the SEC Championship, you play for the National Champions Ship.

Mark Ritch...basically said the SEC Championship is more important than the NC.

I know that all it takes is for teams from other conferences (Clemson, FSU, ND) to beat the SEC teams when they play them. BUT....the SEC is so far ahead of every other conference that they are controlling dictating how the playoffs will be established.

Regretfully, the ACC is the least influential and weakest of the other "major" conferences. I almost have trouble believing that the ACC is relevant or should be considered major.

I'm afraid there is little we fans can do except hope that we get out of the ACC soon.

And yet, If Clemson gets in

the ACC and it's expansion partners will have four teams in this year's BCS games. Clemson, FSU. Louisville, and Notre Dame. Not bad for the weak sister conference.

I know, if the SEC really controlled everything they wouldn't have it set up so only 2 of their 6 top 10 teams can get a BCS bid.

If Louisville were in another confererence, would they

be headed to a BCS? Probably not.

Notre Dame is not a member of the ACC and will never be....they just needed a place to play basketball.

Both good points, but irrelevant.

Four teams in the BCS that are affiliated with the ACC.

Swofford kissed Notre Dame's behind. What other school has basketball in one conference and football in another? Wilikns is dumb enough to believe that Notre Dame will play football in the ACC. He's suffering from dementia.

ND football is not in another conference.

They are independent.

"Stalwart universities—Harvard, Princeton, Yale—most certainly offer status. The Citadel offers character. "
