Band During Warmups

Bring the band in the stands when the gates open. Let them play as the ONLY music during warmups and during the game. They can still go down to the field at the 20 minute mark as usual. This eliminates this GARBAGE we have playing now.

Probably not going to happen. The band has paraded through campus and around the stadium prior to kickoff for years and now they start the pregame show by running out of the tunnels. That warm up music has been played over the PA system since the Bowden era.

They were actually a tad different. Tiger Band adds and takes away from each show depending on how much time they have to perform that week.
Also Tiger Band has 3 shows they perform each year plus the military appreciation day halftime show. That usually means they play each show twice consecutively before they switch. You will see a new show for the NC State game.

We use to do a new show EVERY home game, with exception of either a short week or home coming. When Dr. Speed can in as band director my last year, he started to change things up which included the reduced shows per season.

Plus the repeat shows are done once facing the south stands and another time facing the north stands.

The band will not do that because of their pre game practice and their traditional entrance. The loud, non music is why we didn't get to our seats earlier than 30 minutes before the game.

So we build this huge score board and we use the same musical setup as the Coots? Why is this not a winning strategy? Changing different types of music during each presentation would make more sense.
I consider Rap as a hedonistic version of Gregorian Chants.

I’m 29 and I don’t give a s**t what anyone says. The music is PUMP up music. It’s what we pregame to at the tailgates. The hot coeds love it and the students and players and recruits go wild for it. The way it bumps and the beat drops…. Some of y’all older farts would rather listen to glen miller band ?

When I was at Clemson, we listened to Led Zeppelin and Allman Brothers band...I still do...and it's 1000 times better than the crap you're pimping. And I listen to newer stuff too...like Marcus King Band. Again, 1000 times better than the crap you listen to!
I get that it's "pump up" music, and what the majority of the team likes...but don't come on here trying to defend it as good music! It doesn't take much talent to play three notes on an electric bass!

Have you ever tried to pass a drum or a mellophone in the aisle? The band takes their place on the field a lot more efficiently when they enter from the tunnel, as opposed to having to walk down the stands and through the gate single file.
