3 biggest concerns for Sat.

Nov 26, 2014, 8:27 AM

I am hopeful that DW is able to start, and lead us to a lopsided victory. If not, I still believe that CS can get the job done. Having said all that, here are my main concerns. #1...Refs.we need a fair game, not Spurless influenced calls. #2...turnovers. protect the ball. #3...trick plays. defense needs to be "well schooled", and ready for fake kicks, option passes etc. 'cause we know that the old ######## does have a sack full...GO TIGERS!!

Also our kicking game and kicking.......

coverage has got to be good - our FG kicker Lakip has got to make his kicks unlike against FSU (but he's improved bigtime since then).

I'm concerned if Stoudt has to play in that IMO it won't take much to shatter what confidence he may have. And also our running game has to be effective - can't just hope Watson will play and light up the field with pass completions.

I think kicking, and kick coverage is much improved. If Stoudt is QB then I hope the chad plans some really quick
slant passes so the pass rush doesn't get to him. This was a huge problem for Boyd.

If we can find a way to run the ball on their porous defense, then it won't matter who the qb is. imho

1.Offensive coaching 2.Turnovers 3.Turnovers 4.Turnovers

Chad Morris, except for one terrible trick play call, called a good game against SCAR last year. But it was turnovers that killed us.

But the bottom has completely fallen out of Chad Morris game-day coaching ability during the 2nd half of this season. Unless he experiences some sort of personal mental miracle, I see our offense being shut down, even by a mediocre SCAR club.

I trust our defense to do their job, of course. I don't think they will have a problem with SCAR's offense, scheme or match-up wise but Spurrier is the kind of coach who can make something out of nothing, instead of nothing out of something similar to what we have seen on offense. Spurrier turned a total garbage program into a respectable program.

I still think we should have won last year, we looked like the better side, except for inexplicable Clemson type stuff, we had them. However, even with our excellent defense I don't like our chances this weekend because how insanely bad our offense is. Maybe we have been holding back everything for the coots. I hope so.
