ACC moves up to #2...

Sep 26, 2016, 2:13 PM

In this football conference ranking because of our performance this past weekend (8-0 in non-conference games). We even supplanted the mighty SEC!

Enjoy!

Toughest call might have been Big 12 at #5

instead of the AAC.

SEC does currently have the best non-conf win%.

But it's not the dominant lead they usually have. You could say it's essentially a 3-way tie.

SEC: 25-7 (.781)
B10: 32-9 (.780)
ACC: 31-9 (.775)

Also SEC should be penalized...

For there lack of an OOC schedule.

I have it as a stronger schedule thus far than either

Sep 26, 2016, 5:21 PM

the ACC or Big Ten, primarily because they have played so many fewer FCS games.

They save their FBS games for the end of the season, week before their rivalry games

Is that all games or only games vs FBS schools?***

All. SEC teams have only played 5 FCS games...

Compared to 13 by ACC teams. I forget the B10 number, I think it's 10.

5-5 against Power 5 schools

the other 2 losses are to South Alabama and Southern Miss.

Not sure why the ACC isn't #1. The Wake Forest victory over IU in Bloomington should have flipped the ACC to #1 and B10 to #2.

This might last two more weeks so enjoy it now.

With the SEC so frontend loaded by preseason hype, their teams' strength of record (who the helll knows what that means) will shoot that conference straight to the top of the FPI (another BS speculation loaded by ESPiN's preseason evaluations) which will vault the SEC to the top of the FCR (I got this, it's the Football Conference Ranking).

It's all smoke and mirror just to ensure ESPiN's love child, The SEC's conference champ, makes the playoff no matter how many losses it has.
