Qb question

Out of Klubnik and Vizzina, who is the better talent? I know that they were both ranked 5* and participants in the elite 11 but that’s the extent of my limited knowledge of them.
For the record, I think that they are both upgrades to the depth that we saw last season.

Honestly, I think Vizzina has the higher upside of the two...hope we can keep both!
Can't wait to see the analysis on this post.

They both have excellent potential. I personally think Klubnik will be better. I agree hope we hold on to both. Klubnik has that "it" factor. He is a proven warrior that has played through pain and delivered on the highest level in Texas.

It is not clear at this point. On paper both are outstanding talents. But when the lights some guys shine and some do not. So trying to determine who is the better QB is an unanswerable question until we see both in front of 80K

Cade, he has enough arm strength to make all the needed throws but his accuracy and quick release are incredible. The thing that really impressed me and sold me was his play in the Under Armor all American game, those games are full speed and tackle and due to the nature of those games the defenses dominate because they just blitz and run after the QB. And these are the best, fastest and strongest guys going after him and his OL could t block at all, and he didn’t get sacked, he had guys on him in .5 seconds and got the ball out so fast and accurate. He didn’t get to take many deep shots due to this but completed all the short stuff, which we really lacked last year. Great touch, accurate and catchable balls. Vizzina is an unknown, reading about him he hasn’t played in an offense that drives the ball down the field and he’s just discovering all that he can do according to a few articles I read. I watched his elite 11 film and while he has a ceiling that could be off the charts, he’s raw and relatively inconsistent (compared to other elite players not in general). The talk is he’s going to be unleashed this year, so he might grow, fast, as he gets more reps and opportunities to test his arm and the throws he can make and really fine tune all aspects of the down field passing game.
Both will be really good but I think Cade is DW4 2.0 but with better judgment (less interceptions).

I have never seen Vizzina play. I watched several games last year with Klubnick. To say I was impressed with him is like saying King Kong was impressed with Faye Raye.
If Vizzina is better than Klubnick, I hope his games are streaming this fall. I'm like Thomas, "I ain't believing it till I see it."

Both are outstanding young men; however Klub has something extra in his heart. Therefore I give the edge to him. Viz is a close second.

Vizzina has the better measurables and overall arm talent, but Cade just seems like he has the it factor. The guys a winner and I think he’s going to keep being a winner at this level.
I remember our staff was holding out on him while they were waiting on Simpson to commit. I checked his tape and could see why. This guy is Deshaun 2.0.

Per Elite 11, it's Klubnik who won almost every drill and was voted #1 overall at Elite 11 Finals. Klubnik also won state champioship twice at highest level of Texas Football (at least once winning big over 2022 Longhorn starter Quinn Ewers). Vizzina may have equal magic -- but too early to say. Will have to play out on field.
Klubnik needs seasoning at Clemson to take over the 2022 starting job but Dabo, in his own words, has "been to that rodeo" before ...
