Purple in our Jerseys?

Who is for incorporating some kind of purple in our jerseys again? In the words of Sheryl Crow.." I think a change will do you good."

Why does everyone hate it so much?? Regalia purple is one of Clemson's official / primary colors and pays homage to our school's military history & traditions.

I believe they used to be known as "burnt orange" & "northwest purple" until we patented our colors as part of our branding. They are now both firmly "ours" and known as "Clemson orange" & "regalia purple", respectively.

I prefer the simple solid colors. I honestly think the trim around the numbers and collar aren't bad this year. We haven't seen the orange pants yet, but I thought the purple stripes looked horrible last year.

Actually, I thought back in the olden days it was called Northwestern Blue. Not purple, even though it looked purple. Remember when Clemson played LSU in the Sugar Bowl, naw, you're too young, anyway their uniforms were called their "Sugar Blues".
