Purnell's half court offense was atrocious. Go back and watch. It's what got him canned at DePaul.

You were so close to the truth. Purnell got canned because he wouldn't "play ball" at Depaul therefore he got zero players. The underground AAU crap up there is atrocious. He wouldn't pay for players and he refused to hire AAU street guys. They blackballed him. It was that simple. He didn't realize how powerful they were. He got his money though so there's that.

I'll take Purnell but coach Brownell I like. He will have a strong offensive team. I think the Tigers will bring some pain this year.
