Friday night, went to the Greenville ladies soccer match, they won, it was fun.
Saturday, had to clear some mess off my fence as part of the major landscaping overhaul that is going terribly. Most of the time I enjoy my larger than normal yard, but trying to keep some of the landscaping features nice had escaped me.
Sunday, started cleaning out the building/shop to get ready for a party next weekend. Worked on the doom room in the house too.

50 Cub Cadet Zero Turn with Kawasaki motor. Errybody took a ride. Kids and wife loved it. First time in her life MsLovin has cut a blade of grass. I ran it 90 mins after I got it home.

Friday: who knows ?
Saturday: up at usual time, coffee, reading and cut the grass around 9:30, took off trash, gas up truck, cleaned up the garage a bit, cleaned inside some. One daughter was going to a job at a camp on Sunday and another had scokker tryouts so we celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday. I grilled some chicken and steak, baked potatoes and broccoli, and yes I was

Good time with the fam before we lost one for the summer
Sunday: up early, my daughter has this need to be an hour early for everything, so we got to Cootlumbia and sat for an hour before tryouts. I ran and did some shopping at the Publix in Irmo off of Hwy 6, kept looking for Tiggity, but alas, none. Got home around 3, messed around a bit, played with the dogs and worked in the garden a bit and bed.
9.8/9.9 with a slight deduction for being Tiggity-less

Spent the weekend "glamping" at Table Rock. We rented a 25' RV. Nice but tight. Also the queen bed, while comfy, was about 8" shorter than a std queen, so my feets hung off the bed. Also, no TV and wifi was only at the general store.
4/10 (7.6/19 on the RH Covids scale) with adjustments for the northern lights.
Do not want to due a gin.

Friday, still had some storms passing through so didn't make any plans. Once the sun came out, I hung out at the Lake Park until around 7:30ish. The park has become Wally's Filling Station where old men pull out the chairs and sit in front of the office and talk about how York County USED to be. It was nice. Walked back home and made a pizza, drank a few beers that had gotten lost at the back of the beer fridge. It was nice. Must have watched something on TV after that. I'm sure it was nice.
Saturday, long hike with the pup, then home to grab quick lunch and a shower, then off to Waxhaw because Mrs. wanted to hit antique stores to look for a mirror for the upstairs bathroom remodel project. Realized that Waxhaw was having a festival so got caught up in that, hit a few stores, then walked over to Emmett's Social Table for supper. Food was great as always, but I really wish they would expand their beer selection...but minor gripe. Back home and watched The Book of Clarence. Had high hopes for it but it was only good enough to not turn off before the end.
Sunday, long morning hike with the pup, then a grocery run. Back home to piddle about aimlessly for a while, then back over to the park to hang out for a while and watch the huge Mother's Day crowd. Rescued an inflatable Intex K1 kayak that drunk dude was going to abandon because it was losing air. Carried it home and figuring out where to patch it will be the project this week. Made sausage, tomatoes, onions, and peppers over grits for supper. Did some research on the kayak, caught up on weekend e-mails and messages, then crashed.
Saw two decent local bands at the festival, so I'll 19/19 Covids the weekend since I wasn't washed out of live music. I shoould take points for lousy baseball weekend, but feces happens, I guess.

Friday drove up to Santee for lunch with friends including a high school physics teacher from the late 70's. Stayed up there and toured the lake in friends' new boat on Saturday before coming back home. Church and relaxation on Sunday.

Was in Anaheim all last week for our industry's big trade show. Wore my #### out.
Flew out back home on Thursday lunch-time and was a total CF. Connected through DFW on the way to GSP. Bottom line, didn't make it to GSP until 1:30am Friday morning.
Friday - Mom-of came up for the night to celebrate Mother's day. Got bulk order take-out from Smokin' Pig. Was very good as always.
Saturday - helped wife-of with some yard work, put up some solar string lights on our fence in back yard, grocery run, bbq left-overs for dinner.
Sunday - made special Mother's day breakfast featuring my special orange french toast. Spoiled wife-of all day and finished off with Broiled cod with mango salsa for dinner. Daughter-of painted her a picture that wasn't back from being framed yet, but we snapped a mock-up of the finished product at the frame store and showed her that. Made wife-of happy cry. First time 14 yo daughter-of has painted with water colors and I think it turned out pretty darn good (pic attached).

Friday was my birthday so we celebrated by going to soccer practice. It was the last one so we did play Parents versus kids. However, this coach has two teams so it was 10-11 year old boys and 12-13 year old girls playing about 12 parents. People everywhere, hard to play. Stopped game early because deathstorm was approaching. Drove home in the rain. I was told I could pick anywhere for dinner since it was my birthday so I chose Slice of Life Pizzaria. Wife tried to talk me out of it and into going to another place. I resisted and so we ordered Papa John's Delivery.
Saturday up for 3 soccer matches that day. Caught the first half of son's game but had to leave to take daughter to her game. Son's team won, he played in goal first half, 0-0 at break, and scored the winner in the second half, 3-2 final. I missed all the fun. Daughter's team got KILLT. Grabbed lunch while out, I got to choose because it was my birthday then everything I suggested got vetoed and we went to McAllister's. Son had a second game that afternoon so we made it to that. He played goal until he got hurt, ran into another kid, then played in the field for a while, got 2 great shots but the keeper saved both, goal saving yellow card, his first, then got put back in goal to ice the game. They won 2-0. Very competitive. It was my birthday so I got to choose dinner. The place I wanted to go got vetoed (mind you, this is three times, three different places) so wife calls another good place. No reservations available, just come early and we will seat you...Shower, change, everyone in car, and we head to restaurant. Get 1/2 way there and wife says we weren't going to go there first, we were going to Dink's Sporting Goods to get Body Boards for boys, and not the close Dink's, the one across town. Turn around, head there, change plans for dinner because stupid to go back and forth, get to Dink's and she doesn't want to buy the ones that have because she thinks they are too big. Order some from Amazon. Boy's birthdays are coming up for shop for them for a few. THEN head to dinner. Greenr can pick the place, birthday and all, so I choose a place on Wrightsville. By this time it is like 7:15, place is slammed, 1-1.5 hour wait. Nah, eff that. I tell them we are headed to get fast food and go home, this sucks. Everyone gets mad at me while I rage drive home. Daughter sees a restaurant to the side that we had talked about so we go to Platypus and Gnome for dinner. Dinner is good, place has burgers and pizza (which is what the vetoed places had). Drinks were good. Home for sleeps.
Sunday up for Mother's Day!!! Clean house downstairs before wife comes down, make breakfast, clean kitchen, do laundry, pack up car for beach, etc. Have a decent time at the beach for a few hours, wife wants to go to a couple stores so we leave beach and head to those stores, strikeout at one store, get produce at the other. Nothing major. Grocery store run, home for Baked Ziti from Bigger's Market and then dessert for Mother's Day. Sleeps
Up this morning to gym.
This weekend kinda sucked.

Spent most of the days outside and some of the evenings too. Hit farmers market saturday and did Mothers day stuff Sunday. Yardwork. Watched the Holdovers. Had some bourbon, watched some playoff hockey.
Did NOT have to work for first weekend in about 2 months, so that was nice.

Long weekend after the long trip, settled back in. Hanging by the pool, cooked some good food, drank some good wine. Just vibing. My mood post vacation at work today is markedly improved, I need to remember to not take so much time between vacations. It’s just so easy to get locked in the grind.

Fri - the other MSynan is tired and does not want to have our friends over. In bed by 10. Down
Sat - girls going to water park and Sugar Factory, so I go for day drinking and Golden Tee. Win 2 out of 3 to retain Championship. Dip in the pool once home, then buddy comes over to watch Orlando City win fot a change. Up
Sun - make Mothers Day breakfast w/eggs bacon and chocolate chip pancakes, whole family loves. Up. Made 2nd attempt at blackened Mahi tacos with pineapple salsa for dinner. Turned out very well. Also got 1 hour nap. Up
All weekend ongoing. Daughter managed to wear out golf cart tires, so need to replace. Stinking lug nuts are stuck badly. After several unsuccessful attempts, I only have 6 of the 8 lug nuts loosened and only one of the two tires replaced. Buddy coming Tuesday with a breaker bar, and hope to be done with this nightmare.
