With so many good things going on within our football program as well all the facility upgrades and future plans, does anyone wonder what is going on at other schools such as TCU, Baylor, The real USC etc... for them to be ranked above us? Just can't imagine?

for TCU and Baylor they have a ton of starters returning.

I think Baylor has the entire O line coming back.

We should be really good this year but I can see why TCU and Baylor are getting all this hype. USC has a lot of talent and they always get overhyped. Kinda like Notre Dame

I expect at best we'd be ranked 10 or 11 and at worst 15-19. I believe that 12 was accurate without looking at who is ahead of us. The biggest summer bummer for me was that everyone that evaluated Clemson seem to focus on how many moved on from our football team. Of course they pointed out that we were one play from losing our QB. As if that's not true with every team in the country.

It negativity didn't seem to affect the other teams in the top 25 especially the SEC. They focused on how much talent they had returning and how great their recruits would be.

It's not just who you get when it comes to rankings, it's also where you put them. We got a lot of quality help in our two deep. I'm not saying we're ready for a playoff but if we make it many 2015 recruits will be ready for prime time.

These pre season rankings mean zilch. Do not buy into the hype.

Why are those teams ahead of Clemson? Cause a bunch of dipie doos who get paid by the amount of wOrds in a blog say so.


Clemson's football team could easily end up 7 and 5 . Then all the fans who bought into the media hype start cursing the players and coaches because they didn't end up #12.

You may or may not be the type.

I propose we make it to bc before we start ranking these teams and talking about playoffs. .. playoffs?
