Jacoby Brissett is a good one and State might jump out to an early lead like last week against FSU but it won't last. Tigers get it done.

That is colder than the games in November. I can't recall such a cool temp this early. Usually it's 80-85 in October and you need a tent to escape the sun.
Worried about the game and our uneven performances so far. NC State looks much better than the Tar Heels.
I don't think Kentucky will beat the Gamecocks.

the will play $CU close for much of the game but then do something really stupid in the latter stages to effectively give $CU the win.

uncommon for teams like that to play one really good game at home against a highly ranked team, and then not be able to replicate that kind of performance throughout the rest of the season.
It's gonna be a big difference for State playing in DV than it was playing at home against the #1 team in the country - and a team they've had a very good track record against at home.

I think the D plays well but I expect that Brissett will make some plays that you just cant stop. I also think that we run the ball a little better.

texting with a buddy of mine about it and i told him it looked to me like State was playing off of emotion, adrenaline, and crowd energy, and it just didn't look sustainable. I told him i though State might fade quickly if FSU could make a run and get back into it. I do credit them for continuing to fight and never going away in the 2nd half, but FSU outscored them 56-17 over the last 3 quarters.
I don't think State will get that kind of emotional boost on the road in front of our crowd. Maybe wishful thinking on my part, but i think we win by 3 scores. 45-24 i guess.

I agree with you about the lift from emotion. It was similar to our game up there last year. It happens to State all the time. They get up for big games but have a tendency to crash HARD. Look at their record after playing us close last year. If we get on top early I think we could get a big win and back into top 25.

And old dominion at home. I think the media is giving them far too much credit for a emotional start against an FSU team that was still beat up from our game with them.
We have way more talent than the pack and it will show considerably. I also think they drop more players into coverage and give us a easier time running the ball.
Tigers will win this game big.

I would love for Kentucky to embarrass SCar this weekend, but it won't happen. SCar spooks them for some reason and they always find a way to lose the game. 2010 was a fluke.
