"tough October stretch." They will have Miami and Louisville at home (and NCState in November at home), and have absolutely
no road games back to back. Easier schedule IMO.

Clemson at Louisville, Sept. 17

The ACC Atlantic Division could come down to a Thursday night in September. With Florida State looking vulnerable, will the Tigers or Cardinals step up to win the division? The winner of this game sits in great early position

So if the winner of this game in great position to win the 3rd hardest division in college fb, maybe ESPN should consider pre season ranking them a bit higher in their 9,783 "way too early top 25" articles/tv segments

With UL's avg ranking sitting around 25-30, one slip up and they're unlikely to make another appearance in the rankings.

Which should be just fantastic for our sos come cfb committee resume reviewing time.

See how this works, yet?

Clemson @. 15 is laughable too. Will have to win some monster games to surpass teams ranked undeservably higher with a similar record - and due to the rankings, those HUGE games will more than likely be limited to 2 opportunities in ND & FSU.

Lord knows it'll take a miracle for the coastal winner to be sitting any higher than 20 before we knock them out of the ranks if we were to win the ACC - essentially turning that into awmeaningless win as well
