I agree with Razz.......multiple factors in play as to why scar has beaten us 3 years running. I think the money has helped baseball more than anything. As far as football, I think you have to give credit to Spurrier. It has taken some time but he has built a #### good team and the guy can coach. Clemson has not had a top tier coach in a long time and that and that alone is why we wandered in the wilderness for 20 years. We may still not have a top tier coach, it is too early to tell. The money may not be what brought on the last 3 years but it will make it more difficult to compete if our rivals continue to have $20m more to spend every year.

BUT thats not how most look @ things.. they don`t see cheating, illegal recruiting, complete lack of academics.. they only see that we have lost 3 straight to the c$$ts

best players tend to lean. Not to say they can't sometimes be swayed but it puts us behind at least initially with kids that have no Clemson ties or experience.

i have long believed the biggest difference in the ACC and the SEC was coaching...

ACC was putting just as many, if not more players in the NFL

but when you have head coaches like...al groh, chuck amato,et.al, nothing doing

In all honesty there is a great group of us fans that really dont give a rats #### about integrity and all that other stuff. I mean i dont want to see us cheat but the bottom line is i want to see us win football games. Accademics? Yea its important but we aint no harvard either. Clemson is a fine school and winning should be demanded. Last year we won our first acc champioship but it didnt feel that way because of how we ended the season....sadly enough i ended up disapointed and dont understand why. I do not like the direction we are headed. I dont particuly like the coaching staff. I do not like the finesse offense because that will not bring consistent wins against quality teams. I want us to go back to a hard nosed gene stallings type coach who has dominant o and d lines. Smash mouth football. If we are to maintain with that scum in columbia we must leave the acc before its too late. If not then our sons and daughters will suffer for it in the future.

Same here! Sad thing is so many of our fans have their heads in the sand. They still think Scar is pitiful and we are heads and shoulders above. In reality they have passed us. They recruit better overall. Develop players better on the LOS. Cheat? Probably some. But, we all do and it's not enough. You still have to develop them.

Some here would carry on the status quo forever believing in Ghost of Danny or Dabo the great. When we need to demand our conference and AD/Prez do something!!

I just think we will not beat Scar till Spurrier leaves. It's a bad feeling to have.
