FSU has an invite from the SEC OR BIG. BET THE Farm on it. Get out of GOR and they are in. No other reason to file law suit. Maybe Clemson is not serious about leaving. Big fish in small pond thinking. Don't need a lot of money to be big fish in small pond.

Florida State is throwing shat at the wall and hoping it sticks meanwhile looking like a bunch of idiots that didn't know they signed an agreement or what was in it. They are going nowhere just like their football program.

I see you want to play the TD game. I was good with one for payback, but if you want to play the TD game, I'm in.

The Florida State Women's Teachers College thinks they are special and worth more than anyone else...memory is short among other things...just a few years when they were experimenting with needy coaches that even with free tickets there were few folks in the stands and the game was so boring that some cat was reading a book and getting a tan! Now after buying a football team they are upset about Jawja stealing one of their recruits! Between rape and crab legs they know how to look foolish...they need more money to buy more players!

FSU will not be a big fish in the Big10 or SEC pond and until they know how many millions of dollars it will cost them to leave the conference, they are going nowhere.

if FSU can get Clemson, UNC and others to join them in the lawsuit. Their lone ranger act will not only go nowhere but could possibly cripple any future actions by other schools but they wanted to feel relevant again since they've done nothing in a decade and got dissed this year by the CFP Committee. This should be an action by several schools but they are selfish as always.

I'm not sure Clemson could join their lawsuit, as they are stating that the Florida laws have been violated and much of their lawsuit is based on that.

I say let Florida State spend all the money on a lawsuit and Clemson sit back to see where it leads before jumping.

the lawsuit could just be the next step in a multi faceted protracted approach.

With all due respect, I don’t think you know jack about what they, or anyone else has. But this is a message board, so fling it out there. Whooo!!

FSU is not - and I mean not in the near nor distant future - getting into the SEC. Their being in the SEC would have a significantly negative financial impact on all member schools. They add zero eyeballs, thus add zero gravity to any future TV/streaming deals. Thus, add zero meaningful financial benefit-but rather would further divide a pie. No need to even go into the impossible amount of resistance they would face from a voting block that recruits directly against them - Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, both Mississippi schools, and especially the Gators.
What FSU just did was naive, sophomoric, and pointless.

You do not understand the current media climate and how tier one teams like FSU are valued

If that was the case why did the BIG10 add Oregon and Washington? This year they are great but usually not much. Or the BIG12 adding Houston, BYU, and others. Adding teams helps pick up areas/teams they did not have before

They handpicked the better teams from the Pac 10 or 12 or whatever.
Better teams mean better matchups and better viewers. Otherwise Temple and Boston College would be great teams to add to lock up the #4 and #8 TV markets.

My opinion is they currently would not be 13-0 if they were in the SEC. Should be 12-1 if not for a missed field goal in ACC. They could save a 100 mil by sticking with the deal they signed and wait for the 12 team playoff next year. Either way we owe them a beat down in Tallahassee next year.
