The NCAA needs to drop the death penalty on the Penn State football program. You want to talk about "lack of institutional control"? I read the back-and-forth between various schools on internet Boards and we rightly point the finger at programs that allow improper benefits to be given to athletes. All of that is minor league compared to what Sandusky did and what PSU either failed to correct, or worse, condoned. They knew about his deviant behavior in 1998 and coerced the DA into dropping the investigation. Burn in Hades Penn State.
