Now I'm seeing criticism of Mt. Adams...what gives???

Some people will simply not be happy with our recruiting. I'm beginning to see people doubt Mt. Adams' ability and current ranking claiming that players are often overrated and play against inferior talent.
So if it isn't the croud complaining about recruiting 2 and 3 star recruits, now we have people complaining about getting concensus 5 star recruits.
Can we at least see the kid play a down before we start calling him a bust? I suppose it's a free country and you can voice your concerns...they just seem very unwarrented for a player of this caliber.

Some people are just complainers. That's all there is to say about them so it's best to not re-post their rants. Probably also would help if we do not even respond to some of these guys because it just gives them an opportunity to continue putting their thoughts on here to counter those with more reason.

No, I don't. A couple posters said something naughty about Montravius Adams and you run around starting threads as if you were the insult police. What about 75,000 other posters who have said nothing but great things about him? Don't you think we deserve our own thread? Officer Insult Regulator.

Whats that suppose to mean? I played vs DJ in high school, If it was my descion i'll move Greenlee to SS he's very athletic and fast and plays with great energy.

I can tell you this..I had a player once..6'7" 320..soft as a cotton ball..no feet..only thing mean about him was his momma. recruitng services saw him at one of these "camps" and made him a 4 star. Everybody recruited him. Verbal to FSU..signed with Notre Dame. Could'nt have started at Furman. I told as much to coaches who were recruitng him...in code of course...that's a sticky wicket for a HS coach..if players and parents ever hear you're not pimping their son you're toast...if college recruiters think you're pumping sunshine you lose all credablity. My conslolation was the ND asst who said he should have listened to me. Kid is no longer on the team. Coach told me "with his size we thought we could turn him into a player." Happens more than you know.

All of the "genius" arm chairs on this board amuse me!!
They (we) all have our own opinions of potential recruits. However, criticism of a legitimate
5* recruit (especially on a public forum) is just showing your ignorance!!
THINK before you comment!! Do not even DOUBT for one minute that the Dawg, Coot, and Auburn Trolls are dying to share with this kid....ANY Negativity coming from this board.
When any of you (myself included) THINK you know how to better evaluate prep talent than Dabo & coaching staff, feel free to stay silent, so that we dont LOSE top recruits.
