...that Clemson is Dabo Swinney and Kathleen Swinney's permanent home. I think most on this board have always though this way but there were a few that thought he would bolt to Alamba if the opportunity arose, and that thought was understandable.

I think Dabo will retire a Clemson Tiger. He may move back to Alabama once he retires, but Clemson is and always will be his home. He raised his family here and has so many great memories of his family in Tiger Town!

I think he is genuine and I believe him when he says he wants to be here. But many years of life experiences have taught me two things; nothing is forever and people will surprise you.

Yep. And Dabo's said the same many times. Always said he'd never say never. Always said you never know what your circumstances are at the moment. He also stated numerous times, timing is everything.

Had we made the playoffs, played in the natty and/or won it, he probably takes the job. Who knows... because the circumstances would have been different.

There are people that dont want to move back where they were brought up. After 50 years living where I do, this is home. All my friends are here not in a town I haven’t lived in for so long.
