The media has been talking the UNC upset all week. It's nothing disrespectful of Clemson. It's just the only game this weekend that could throw a wrench into the CFP decision. True, Alabama losing would as well, but Florida is terrible. All they want is to see the committee have to make a difficult/controversial decision. The media lives for controversy. Tigers win 34-17
you really think UNC will score almost 50% less in points than USC did on us this year? They scored what, 35 points, on our top ranked defense last year. Even Syracure scored more than 17 points against us, and Wake's pathetic offense scored 13 points on us! UNC's offense is way better than any of those offenses, and you have them basically scoring less "on average" than those 3 teams combined?? Really?
Our D has had 3 bad games this year> NC State: Their QB had the game of his life Syracuse: We weren't expecting to play Georgia Tech South Kaerlina: They played 3 QB's, threw in the kitchen sink, and had good field position with the turnovers. No comment on not covering pharoh on the slant.
Our D performs well when they get what they expect from the opposing offense. UNC has alot of confidence in what they do, and I don't expect them to alter their plan too much. UNC will still make some plays, but we have the best defense they have faced all year. We give up one chunk play for a TD, then shut them down, they get a field goal and then a late gimme TD in the 4th. Final score Tigers 34-17
