The one in DV I'm pretty sure gets it's bang from shot gun shells. Should be pretty easy to duplicate.

use any firing device you want... as long as there's a dead chicken on the other end, you've got yourself a Clemson cannon.

Especially if you plan on shooting it in public. My son's a cop. There are laws about how short a shotgun barrel can be cut off and still be considered legal. Good luck.

Willy-Brice...with back-up from the Clemson Air Force and the Army ROTC students...called Operation Roto-Cooter-Rooter! (I fired the cannon years ago...just make sure for "peaceful" use that you use shotgun shell BLANKS!...lol)

went out and bought or had theirs made. Our cannon has character in that it was made by students (I believe it was the head cheerleader way back when), and also practicality in that it can be easily moved around, allowing it to be repositioned in the stadium and even lead parades.
