Lifestyle 135 Sound Bar?
BTW I'm not a Bose homer and generally prefer to piece together and build my own surround sounds. I wish I could use the equipment from my man cave but it takes up to much space.
I bought it due to having a wall mounted TV above the fireplace and not having room to install nice In Wall Speakers(I dont want speakers mounted on the wall). I'm not sure if I like it, especially with the lack of bass response. But I'm not sure if use will break it in and help.
Who else has sound bars or in wall alternatives and what do you like? I'm trying to figure out if I want to keep it or return it and try something else.

For srs I do not. Mine is a Samsung and I don't like it too much either.

Yeah I'm not sure if a soundbar alternative is going to give me what I want.
We looked and the Bose TV with built in surround sound and it sounds pretty dang good but couldnt pull the trigger at that price.

I just finished installing our flat screen over the mantle.

It was a pain, but it can be done if you have a crawlspace. We have the receiver, cable box, PS3 and DVD player in the closet. No wires anywhere in the room at all. You can set all that up fairly cheaply, with the exception of the rf remote.

just ran fish tape up to the attic and back down where I have my receiver. Also just used an IR re-transmitter ($60 online) instead of an RF remote.

He basically can't run wires at all with his setup. With 1 floor it is not that much harder at all.

But the wife didn't like it and our new tapestries or whatever they are called make it where I cant have speakers on the end. I have a cut out into the wall below the tv where I have my wireless receiver and 360 there.

I just bought an LG sound bar from Sam's Club the other day for my man cave TV. It was 249.99, came with a wireless subwoofer. Sounds pretty dang good for a $249 item.
