Noles remind me of...

...the Hurricanes of the late 80's/early 90's. They had a "us against the world" mentality and didn't give a rat's behind about who liked them and who didn't.

Canes had similar off the field issues and issues with the media and simply didn't let it affect their play. They just went out, knocked people in the mouth and won a bunch of national championships.

I see a very similar attitude with the Noles these past 2 seasons. Lots of issues off the field, they think they media is out to get them, and they just continue to win.

All dynasties crumble in the end. Like the Good Book says "Pride comes before the fall." I wonder how it will all shake out.

I'll tell you how it will shake out. About the end of November, when the SEC realizes FSU will still be in the Final 4, they'll push hard to get Winston removed from the team as well as get FSU games nullified. That will open up another spot for an SEC team to fill in the Final 4.

To me - it's an exact replica of Auburn w/ Cam. Big athletic QB with shady off the field issues. Always seem to find a way to win... And we played both of them to OT.
