My dad has made a few small batches the last couple years, and they're actually pretty dang good.

where I will never order them and I would never cook them, but take me to a good spot and I will put some hot sauce on them and eat them.

I don’t like them, but I do. It’s weird.

Oysters were cheap then. I seem to remember getting the cardboard box that a case of canned beer came in filled with oysters for like $5.00.

into TN for a ex-coworker's funeral. He passed away at the age of 56 after a 4+ year battle with ALS.

It sounds sad. And it was. But it was also awesome to see how many people came out to celebrate him. He was that dude.. the one who genuinely cared more about others than himself. And he took ALS on head first... Raised money by running with his run team. And when he couldn't run, they pushed him. It was awesome to hear so many wonderful stories about him and to know that they everyone had the same experience with him. Kindness. Caring. Full of love. Sarcastic sense of humor. He even left instructions to have everyone do the O-H-I-O cheer...knowing that many of us Clemson, VT, UT fans would grimace, but do it for him.

It was actually a good day...
