What's the appeal of the politics board? It seems like >95% of the posts devolve into name calling and a large majority of posts are gotchas or bad-faith arguments. Am I off on that?
Is it like a bar atmosphere where yall know each other and the good natured ribbing comes across as something else to the uninitiated?

but comment on it? For instance, one time a guy came by the dock in a Wakesetter about 1/4 throttle. I just so happened to have a bream my son and I had just caught in my hand. Before I knew what happened I had thrown the fish at the man. Same principle is how you get roped into threads on the P&R board.

The P&R forum is sort of like going to the zoo and peering through the bars. You get to casually pop in and observe creatures that you would otherwise never run into in your day-to-day life.
