The throw was perfect, but even more impressive was that the receiver actually caught a contested ball downfield for a long completion. We took that for granted here for seven or eight years. Not any longer.

These passes are beautiful. Curious if he’s gonna be able to keep that up all game. Usually they can’t. But. Penix is different

Yeah it is odd. Sometimes these deep balls are way out there, and I am talking nowhere near the line scrimmage. Then the WR goes way out there at full speed and he and the QB have some sort of telepathy or something and the ball is there. It's magic. I have seen it before. Trust me it exists.

Think this kid is going to be a great pro barring injury

Most of these plays are very well defended just perfect throws. Will be interesting to see if he can maintain it through the second half.
