I never wagered on supports

however, I am really tempted to put 1K on this one!! Not only 14 points is generous, I really think their QB sucks and he is over rated. I believe we can move the ball on their defense.

Make no mistake. This game is Boyd's to win or lose.

though that's not likely, never say never. I still don't understand Vegas missing the line this big.... so, IDK.

Just a casual reminder to all who think this line is far too high............the folks in Las Vegas didn't start doing this yesterday, and they're not in it for their health.
While I wouldn't ascribe any basis in fact for the "fix" possibility, you're correct to be cautious and skeptical.

Why wouldn't the line have shifted somewhat, at least?

sure the opening line is where the "experts" think they will get equal betting on both sides. In the end, where the final line is set is where the betting folks think the margin will be.
I think it is too high myself, but I may be too close to it to really get a good look.

Are you saying that the line could still move and it will affect my current bet?
Meaning, if I bet 1K on Clemson now and it is 14 points and half, can by tomorrow make it 12 and that will apply to my bet that I've made today?

No, whatever the line is when you place your bet, is the line you get.. It may fluctuate after but you are locked into whatever it was when you placed it.
