The Bull pen is what you have. It is not going to improve. Unlike the majors, we can't go out and get players for the stretch and set up for playoffs.

We are going to have to be extremely lucky to make it out of Regional.

I mean all of the runs count. Coming into tonight we had given up 44 unearned runs and sit at 32nd in the nation for total runs allowed. The problem is our fielding percentage is 197th; geez. I know we woulda been out of the inning and won the game Friday night if hinderlieder hadn’t booted that ball and extended the inning. But Gordon still hung a breaking ball to give up the game losing HR; why does the pitcher get a pass for that just because there was an error two batters prior?

Everyone in this thread saying #2 or whatever has failed to address that the only ranked team we have played in 6 weeks was ranked #20 and we lost (UGA). This team is hitting better but pitching and defense is still not where it needs to be

We won 17 games in a row to close out last season and finished 3rd in our own regional. Nothing guaranteed.

The team has two glaring weaknesses. Feels a lot like our RBs fumbling in the Red Zone sometimes. If they can figure out how to shore those up, we’re a scary team. I wanna believe this staff can get it done. But we’re at that time.
