It has ALWAYS been ALL about him. If yo udon't believe it, just ask him.
Suggesting that he was forced out may be a bit of a stretch though considering the President of the university specifically said that he repeatedly asked Spurrier to stay until the end of the season but Spurrier refused.
The simple fact of the matter is Spurrier is a mouthy self-absorbed tempermental crybaby who quit on the University, the coaches, the players, the recruits, and the fans.
While I feel bad for the players, I have absolutely no sympathy for the University or the fans. They knew EXACTLY what they were getting when they hired him.
