Lamecock football 2023

3

I feel they caught several teams by surprise last year and overperformed a bit. However, this year, they will not be so lucky. I see them losing to UGa, TN, TATM and hopefully, Clemson. It looks as if the UNCheat, MO, KY and UF games may be a tossup. So, they could easily end up anywhere from 4-8 to 8-4.

i hate that we let them off the hook last year.. that was

par for the course last year tho. we all saw it coming just couldn't stop the skid. We were about to lose to the Tar heels in the ACC Championship too had we allowed that mess to go on. Just looking forward to flipping the page and writing a new chapter.

Losing their OC will be more than enough to doom their season this year imop.

Their offense was surprisingly good and was the catalyst.

Our game against them last year was an anomaly, we didn't play well and coached worse (especially on offense).

Beamer and crew are in for a struggle this season. Reality sets in once again. I expect them to be an underdog to all of the teams you mentioned with the exception of possibly MO, and Kentucky.

I come in peace. Not to be disagreeable but rather to disagree...
losing the OC might be the best thing for us; changes were made prior to the Tenn game and you saw what happened
Satterfield was not liked by either players or coaches.

Someone posted a link to their spring depth chart, it's bad as in really really bad. They forget Muschamp, went 9-4 in his second season and it was downhill from there.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

They were very, very fortunate last year. That won't happen this year. Should UNC beat them, which I doubt, it will be a long season for them. Also, should Whitesnake go down with an injury, it will get ugly.

Whatever, their young men beat ours fairly and that win

alone, along with trounching TN (who trounched us) will propel their program & large fanbase more than we can ever know.

Correction, we & they will "know" soon when the 2023 season ends..But their beating Clemson & TN last year has already helped recruiting, morale & $ donated.

Saying, Clemson & TN will regret losing to them Birds!

Coots lost all their 5* players this year too

Jordon Burch DE transferred to Oregon.
Pickens DT NFL Combine
Marshawn Lloyd transferred to real USC.
Best TE forget name transferred to Mizzou
Best 4* DB and 4* WR transferred to FSU.
The other starting DB transferred somewhere. One of their starting LBs transferred. And I think their best OL went NFL and another starter went to Virginia I think.

So basically about half their starters left after this season to include all their 5* players except for Rattlesnake. Oh, and pretty sure their good placekicker left as well, maybe NFL?

Even with portal and NIL, along with Beamer ball tricks, I don't think they can come close to replacing what they lost?

again, I come in peace. Might want to take another look at the roster.
1) we are stacked on the OL - will be a strength of the team
2) lack of running back is a big issue, tight end is somewhat but we got a couple of guys from the portal that will be just fine
3) We are in fine shape at receiver. Bell was good, but not our best - that would be Juice Wells
4) both our starting linebackers, who were hurt last year are back - have good depth behind
5) hate to see anyone leave but we are fine on DBs

the big issues are running back and edge. Other than that, we will be stout. I think 8 wins is very likely
