Doing weekend in Clemson for FSU game, Jounge advice needed

Decided to make a weekend of the FSU game and rented an AirBNB not too far from Clemson. Past few trips to Clemson I've pretty much driven to lot and drive right back out after the game so it's been years since I've actually spent time in the city/surrounding area so wanted to straw poll the Jounge experts
Restaurants - is the Clemson Marina Grill cool for lake views to grab drinks/early dinner? Or should I look elsewhere? I believe I read Pendleton built up a square with some restaurants?
Parking - are downtown churches/private lots still selling spots or should I just suck it up and pay the ransom for a parking pass on the secondary market? Wife is 6 months pregnant so don't want to push my luck too far so leaning towards option #2 since post-game traffic won't be too bad with noon game but figure I ask anyway.
Will send a proper FYT gif once I'm not on a work computer

expensive AF. As in $15 for a margarita in a solo cup and $5.50 for a Coors pint. Food is great sometimes, just OK others. Grouper fingers are really good. Pendleton has a roof top bar now called Raines on Exchange, Blue Heron is also downtown Pendleton but I had the worst dining experience of my life there a couple of weeks ago. And I've had some bad experiences.
There's a Your Pie on the lake in Clemson, it has a dock you can walk out on. Traditions on the Lake is very good and has a nice view, I'd look into that.

Thank you sir...$5.50 for a pint of beer is cheaper than what I'm used to in ATL!
Will check out those other places you mentioned, the Raines on Exchange rooftop looks like good spot

Pendleton scene is great but crowded, reservation at Blue Heron a must except after 8:00 Seneca has several good spots from Spot on the Alley to Brewery, Speak Easy, wine bar, to Vangeli’s $$$$
