Just got back from a week in Paris

French people everywhere were welcoming and almost friendly. Not like Southern friendly, but good enough for us. Hotel room was tiny, but we expected that. Food and wine was delicious. More art than I could look at in a lifetime. This one's called "Nature Unveiling"

Wonderful trip and highly wreck or mend.

What museum is that piece in?


Edit- Orsay. Amazing place that, I was just there and missed this sculpture, it’s quite striking. I got lost in the impressionist and neo-impressionist floors. Huge museums like the Louvre and Orsay require days to see, I think I might honestly prefer smaller more digestible museums, like the Rodin for instance. I think I might go to a surgical museum next week in Paris. I’m going to Oxford on Wednesday mostly to go to the Ashmolean museum that I understand is fabulous.

We spent an entire day in there and saw less than half the stuff.

It's amazing.
