Seau had previously driven off a cliff in 2010 but claimed he had fallen asleep and had not tried to committ suicide.

How do you handle stuff like this? The only way to really prevent this is to not play football. You know that will never happen. You can only dumb it down so much. What should be done?

there to at least make a difference. It won't eliminate TBI or its effects but it will certainly reduce the amount of incidents. But players don't want to change the gear they wear, mostly because, during their careers, they are fearless and believe they are invincible and don't realize the truth until it's too late.

That is all bunk. If fhat was the case there would be a lot more NFL players killing themselves. This everyone is a victim and somebody else is at fault crap has got to stop. I guess thats what you expect with Socialists and atheists running things

You truly don't know what you're talking about.

Go do an hour of real research on CTE - read the medical reserach that is actually out there on diagnosed cases and how severe the brain trauma is...how literally DEAD the brain cells are...and see if you still feel that way.
Not every football player suffers from CTE, and we don'tknow if that's what afflicted Seau, but if it was...it's very real.

Seau was interviewed by a Christian sports magazine years ago. he professed a faith in God. I am glad for that
A few years ago, he drove his car off a cliff. That was strange. Also, his wound was in the chest. That's not the place most self-inflicted gunshot wounds occur.
There was a former NFL player that committed suicide a few years ago via gunshot and did not shoot himself in the head so that the brain would be in tact for the autopsy.
Only God knows, in all seriousness, why he did what he did. I feel for the family and friends of Junior. They must be going through some extremely stress filled emotional rollercoasters right now

This debate can be had in another thread. We should be talking about Junior not this. Great football player and a better person. His restaurant in San Diego was also top notch. Watch Marcellus Wiley break down on SC and that is all you need to know
