His father said last night: “The most honest thing I can say right now is if the decision was today and today was the day he had to make his decision I think he would be going to Georgia,” Williams said. “That’s if today was the day.”
Jamyest Williams had an interesting wristband (GEORGIA) on Thursday night at The Touchdown Club of Atlanta Awards banquet. There did not appear to be a South Carolina bracelet on the opposite or the same wrist.

these drama queen recruits bug me. I know, I know they're just 17 or 18 year olds but all this commit/soft commit/decommit crap is just silly imo. I like the way dabo handles it because it eliminates a lot of the games these guys play. this player in particular just likes to see his name on the Internet it seems

I'm guessing he will stick with the coots. He will be visiting there this weekend I believe and they will roll the red carpet out for him. They don't want him to defect because of the bad publicity it would generate more than anything.

Honestly South Carolina probably gains by subtraction if they lose this kid. His ego is...sumpin', and it's obvious Jamyest loves him some Jamyest.
Also it's worth mentioning that both IMG and Roswell went right at him when they played Grayson. Both of them had big FBS-level WR's, and both of them abused him for 200+ yards on the night. There's no question Jamyest is going to struggle some against big wideouts at the next level as a CB; UGA probably has the right idea using him as a WR/RB Curtis Samuel type.

Clemson dodged a major bullet. Dad seems to love the attention and drama. To be fair, I've never heard the kid say much, only the dad. Maybe our coaching staff sensed the same thing too and cut ties.

That would be a complete D!CK move on his part. Don't call me a coot for that, but letting a school believe they have a slot filled and then backing out at the last minute. Selfish and Childish, karma will get him in the end.

The one thing that kind of balances it out is that the Gamecocks had themselves a CB committed before Jamyest...when JW came along they in turn told him his services were no longer required and his commitment would no longer be honored.
That karma wheel tends to go 'round and 'round, sometimes.
