Jack decided to make no changes in his staff last year.

Basically this team is playing just like it has the last several years. I was not happy last year with the no changes or this year with only a couple of wins at this point in the season.
This team lacks a killer instinct, plays bad defense, and still cannot outhit the competition. It is going to be a long baseball season unless this team improves dramatically.
Dabo has it going on. I will give BB another year of recruiting to see where he can position his team. But Jack . . .??? Not good.

If Jack is determined to hang himself, let's give him all the rope he needs.

Doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results is idiocy. Jack seems to fit that bill.

Tommy Bowden and Jack Leggett are nearly identical in their stubbornness and support of their staff. Bowden refused to let his friend Rob Spence go because they were friends, even though the offense was awful. It cost him his job. Leggett won't let go of Peppicelli go because they are friends, even though his pitching is woeful. It will probably cost him his job as well.

As well it should. They get paid very well to make the best decisions for the team. Keeping inept coaches is contrary to, what should be, their purpose of helping players mature, developing their skills on the field, winning games and helping them mature into productive men. Leaving off any of them is omitting an important part of our responsibilities, and keeping poor coaches on staff, just because they are liked as people, doesn't fulfill that obligation, IMO. Dabo fired his best friend and the husband of his wife's best friend, because it was the right thing to do for Clemson. I know it hurt him to do it, but it was the right thing to do. The guy who recognizes that is who I want heading up our programs.

I was not around the upstate area when Clemson baseball was tops but from what I can see it sure isn't today The facts regarding record to date this year, recruiting and no changes made after a poor season last year would seem to indicate that Jack has reached the point of obstinence and it is time to make a change. Candidly, I've listened to him speak and he sure as heck wouldn't motivate me to come to Clemson. Perhaps it will change as this season goes on but that's sort of like going to Vegas, playing poker and betting on one's ability to fill out inside straights all night!! A losing proposition!

we have serious problems for sure which are very baffling. many probably dont realize we were 7=7,7-7, 6-8 and 9-5 the last for years to start the year. time is running short. the rabbit better get pulled out very quickly

everyone now knows, and likely knew for that matter, that Jacks last season is 2015. Recruits aren't willing to come nor coaches willing to be part of a "staffing change" where they don't know who the new coach will be 1 year later and if they'll subscribe to the same kinda ball Jack does and/or clean house themselves . These are big life decisions for people to make over looming uncertainties.

a whole lot of people should take notice.
That's because I have long considered him to be representative of most Clemson alumni and fans I've known over the years: strongly supportive, reluctant to criticize negatively and generally optimistic.
Thanks for having the fortitude to say what a lot of folks are, no doubt, now thinking.
