1) I saw the Travis Blanks ESPN commnets.....how good is this kid?

2) Does anyone think BV is playing opussum with his comments about the D....it concerns me that he thinks only 11-15 are ready to play....what was he doing during the spring and fall camps?

I think Blanks is very good. Not Sammy Watkins good, but definitely freshman All ACC good.

As for BV, as long as the number is 15 and not 11 we're in decent shape for game 1. We'll have more guys perceived to be "ready" after some guys get snaps against Ball St and Furman.

In fact, I know I will get laughed out of the room, but I think that the BV defense will be the reason we blow AU out of the water. After studying the tigers more than my school work, I have all the confidence in the world that the D-line can hold the O-line and allow the linebackers to blow up that running game. As for the secondary, I believe that all the pressure and confusion allows them to bat down some balls and maybe a pick or two.

they're not going to let the media know much and I don't buy he is concerned about the secondary. That would tell Auburn to take shots down field and attack the secondary.
