What a dumb way to lose a game for your team. Almost as dumb as that video clip of him touching all the mics at the post game press conference right after he tested positive for covid, like it was no big deal... right before the league shut everything down. It's gotta be hard being this guy's teammate.

That trade has actually turned out to be great for them. They have been the 1 seed in the West for most of the season and he's in the running for DPOY again. They will probably backslide some now that KAT is out till the playoffs, but he has been a huge reason why they have been the #1 defensive rated team in the league this year.

They have the core of their team already built in Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, KAT, etc so getting Gobert in his prime still was more valuable than whatever late first round picks they would presumably have.

Edwards is a stud. I dont think I would give up all of draft picks for 13pts and 13 rebounds though from Goebert. On the other hand, you are accurate about what might be late 1st round draft picks. Good point.
