Info on K.J. McDaniels potential contract

Jun 30, 2015, 4:42 PM

"Based of this logic, and considering he was paid only $507,336 in year 1, he will be looking to make between $10,342,164 and $13,038,626 over 3 years or between $3,447,388 and $4,346,208 per year."

Not even close. Rockets offered him slightly over $1 million

Hopefully another team will come forward with a better offer. He would have been better off staying with the Sixers, where he was actually getting meaningful minutes and showing what he is capable of doing. Once he was traded to the Rockets, he barely played and then he got injured.

Judge Keller
That minimum offer is what the rockets or any team that had the rights was supposed to do. They'd be stupid to offer otherwise in the beginning. That's not an indication of the market.

^ this plus now the Rockets have right of first refusal to

match any offer. Why would they offer anything more than minimum? They get to let the market determine value then decide whether they want to match.
